Huntington Farms Policies

  • Barn capacity 100 guests. Deck capacity 30 guests.
  • Blocking exit doors is not allowed.
  • A parking area will be provided for your guests. A staff member will provide you with support during the event.
  • No smoking is allowed in the barn, on the deck, or the summer kitchen as this is a century old barn. Butt cans will be provided in a smoking area away from the buildings.
  • Fireworks, sparklers, campfires, and hot air balloons are not allowed on the farm because of liability issues for guests and animals on the farm. Guests are not allowed in any other buildings on the farm unless approved by staff.
  • Proof of event insurance through https://www.wedsure.com/ or other reputable company for 1 million dollars coverage, which includes an alcohol rider with the coverage. List the venue coverage to Huntington Farm. Insurance certificate needs to be given to Diane Hunter one week before the event including the final payment for the barn and summer kitchen rental.
  • You are responsible for hiring and paying a licensed bartender for your event. Proof is needed that the bartender is licensed in the state of Wisconsin before the barn is occupied for your event. Alcohol cannot be sold in the barn as we do not hold an alcohol license. The alcohol is complementary to your guests. Bring your own alcohol must be served through the bar and bartender. Alcohol should be served when your guests start to arrive, last call for beverages in 11:15 PM. The bartender is responsible for clean up of the area by midnight. Huntington Farms has the right to close the bar before the end of the event if safety issues arrise regarding alcohol.
  • Bands and DJ playing time ends at 11:30 PM
  • Rehersal dinners are not allowed in the barn.
  • Four hours of decoration time is included. The time frame is 3:00-7:00 PM to be arranged when it is convenient. Alcohol is not allowed in the barn during this time frame.
  • The base price for reception barn rental is $4,000 and that includes 19 round tables and 120 chairs. The barn will be open from noon to midnight the day of your event. Personal items need to be removed from the barn by 12:30 AM. A $25.00 fee for every 15 minutes after 12:30 AM closing time will be applied. A $125.00 cleanup fee is required at the end of your decoration time before your event. Please give that to Diane in an envelope with the $125.00 before you leave the evening of decoration and the balance of the rental fee. Garbage cans will be provided in the barn for your convenience.
  • A $2,000.00 deposit is required when the contract is signed and the deposit is non-refundable and applied to the balance of barn rent.
  • A $125.00 cleaning fee is non-refundable.
  • A $300.00 damage deposit is refundable after inspection by a staff member.
  • Renters are responsible for hiring and paying for port-a-potty service for their guests the day of your event. Some suggestions; A hand washing station, 2 potties - 1 for females and 1 for males, and 1 handicap accessible if you have wheel chair guests. Bridal party and close family members may use the toilet in the summer kitchen.
  • Licensed caterers of your choice are required to serve your guest meals in the barn. They are responsible to dispose and remove their own garbage and clean up the serving area.
  • Dog guests must be approved by staff.
  • Huntington Farms does not provide heating or cooling systems in the barn other than the ceiling fans and exhaust fans that are permanent fixtures in the barn.
  • Huntington Farm is not responsible for weather events that causes electrical outages or any other inconveniences related to weather.
  • Open flame candles are not permitted in the barn, candles need to be in a large non-flammable container or hurricane globes.
  • A coffee bar may be added for $150.00 which includes coffee for 100 guests, coffee cups, creme, sugar, and spoons.
  • The guests cannot hold the Hunter family liable for suit, actions, damages, and expenses for personal injury, illness, property damage or theft while they are on the property due to any cause whatsoever. The barn is not locked during the times of rental and Hunter family is not responsible for personal articles left unattended in any part of the property before, during, or after the event.
  • A final count of guests 7 days before your event.
